Shawl Collar Pullover

I have some fun tutorials to share with all of you, I really do. Time, however has not been on my side the last few days. Photographing and writing up tutorials takes a lot of time!

I do have something cute to share today though if you're looking for an adorable winter top or spring pull over for your little person.

Recently I made Dear My Kids' Shawl Collar Pullover.

I'm a huge fan of Karen's PDF patterns. They are well written with clear step by step instructions. If you do a search of Dear My Kids here on the blog, you'll find several photos of other children's patterns I've made up in the past. I think this shawl collar pullover is one of my favorites. There are minimal pieces to the pattern and it sews up really fast. If you've ever purchased a Dear My Kids pattern, I'm sure you can agree you can't go wrong! Thus, I'm excited to share the following with you!

Along with her felt toy shop (Dear My Kids), and her children's pattern shop (Dear My Kids Easywear), Karen also now has a women's pattern shop (Dana.a).
Dana.a has just been stocked with Karen's new winter collection, and her designs are amazing!

I am in love with her Shawl Wrap Cardigan and will be sewing that up for myself soon.

Karen is having a little giveaway on her blog right now, where the winner will win a pattern of their choice from the Dana.a collection. Do not leave a comment here to enter the giveaway but leave it on the Dear My Kids Blog. If you've never tried one of Karen's patterns before I encourage you to enter because I know you'll love them.

Also, until Sunday, use the code DANAWIN11 at checkout and receive buy one get one free on all women's patterns.

I thought you guys would like to know.
I would hope someone would tell me.
You know, because I need someone to enable me to buy more patterns.
You can never have enough. :)
Just being a friend here.

See yah tomorrow!

  2. I tried to purchase, but there's no place to put the coupon code on her etsy shop!?

  3. I tested the shawl collar pullover pattern and must say I completely agree with you. It's a breeze to sew and the results are amazing. I've also tested the woman's cowl neck vest and the big hoodie coat. Again wonderful results with very little effort. I've also sewn (not tested this time) the unisex warm hoodie and it turned out great too. I love, love, love her patterns.
